For several centuries, Aubusson has been one of the most important Carpet and tapestry weaving centres.

Aubusson is famous all over the world for the products which come out of its factories. Carpets and Tapestries have always been features of prime importance interior design.

Aubusson continues to produce hand woven Carpets and Tapestries and thus keeps alive the age-old art of quality weaving.

The Saint-Jean factory is situated at the centre of Aubusson and has existed since the 17th Century. It was developed in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Today it is still an important production centre where :

Tapestries are woven in old and contemporary styles
Aubusson and Savonnerie Carpets are woven
Carpets and Tapestries are restored

Its artists and qualified personnel enable the Saint-Jean factory to continue the Tradition and Quality of Aubusson.
